Together the Tate Brothers have amassed 25 years of knowledge and experience, both in front and behind the camera, in the entertainment industry. They have attained key, solidifying relationships with premier talent, producers, executives, directors, writers and musicians.

They recently launched TateMen Entertainment, a growing multi-media company committed to offering quality content for film, television and digital platforms. Their current slate of projects include the indie film “Beta Test” and the feature film “Deuces,” alongside Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Productions which is presently on Netflix. They have a hit, scripted audio series with Laurence Fishburne’s company, Cinema Gypsy, that is on iTunes and Spotify. Their next film, “Business Ethics” filmed in Toronto, Canada is currently in post-production.

LARENZ is a standout actor, director, producer and activist. Perhaps best known for groundbreaking role as ‘O-Dog’ in the cult classics “Menace II Society”, his feature film credits include “Love Jones,” “Dead Presidents,” and “A Man Apart” among others. He co-starred in the three-time Academy Award winning film “Crash” as well as the film “Ray” opposite the Oscar winner Jamie Foxx. He starred in the hit comedy “Girls Trip”. Currently, Larenz joined the cast of the gritty, Starz drama-series “Power”.

 

 

LAHMARD is a comedic actor and producer who’s often lauded for his hilarious performances in movies such as “Barbershop,” the cult classic “Don’t Be A Menace To Society” and “Janky Promoters” alongside Ice Cube and Mike Epps. His television credits include recurring roles on “Moesha” and “Method and Red”. Lahmard starred and produced the indie film “Civilian Life”. He also starred in the television drama “Unsolved” for USA Network, which is now streaming on Netflix.

LARON began working for a production company at Paramount Studios while attending college. Upon graduating UCLA, he segued from a career as a working actor to one as a writer. He wrote for Warner Brothers Studio and 20th Century Fox in television and Universal Studios in film. Currently, he helms the operational management of TateMen Entertainment and is the company’s lead producer.
